Children led into the hunting scene

Maybe its Social media
creating a market where
the exposure to the masses
brings with it despair
for children and young women
apparently being led
through to killing animals
and that being said
sickens me, it really does
apprenticeship’s of woe
the innocent the guiltless
shown the way to go
accompany the hunters
on expeditions where
animals are shot down
in cold blood and all do share
that experience
whatever that experience may be
whether sexual, some perversion
in minors this shouldn’t be

it highlights lack of judgement
for innocence should be
allowed to find its own path
inoffensively
its wicked to create involvement
as these hunters do
for me its inexcusable
and transgresses all that’s true

the law should step in here I feel
for hunters should be made aware
children and hunting trips don’t go
and will lead to despair
innocence is innocence
and it makes no sense to show
the killing ways to children
at least let them grow

parading them on face book
is a very bad idea
giving them guns and loading the bullets
and pointing them at some deer
or squirrel or dog or earthling
is as wrong as we can be
perhaps we ourselves like to kill
but our children don’t need to see

its a sickness perhaps its sexual
its ground that children should
be kept away from actually
because it isn’t good
they have to find their own way
and not be guided to
a path that leads to killing
that’s not the thing to do

Facebook lets them set up
and records their kills, we see
Deer’s young earthlings lost in grief
this should never be
it doesn’t serve a purpose
creation and life is pure
and pointing a rifle at some soul
can never be a cure

for anything on this earth
the explanation for
such criminal behaviour
someone ought explore
but introducing children
into this darkened world
is truthfully corrupting them
they just find themselves hurled

into a scenario that some
would find oblique
a daughter might be so upset
its not what children seek
they are soft and they are
malleable
such influence can be
harmful to a growing child
for me that now is key

4 and 5 year old’s are
being photographed where they
have supposedly shot a squirrel
killed it so to say
and they are congratulated
through the networks that we know
its so wrong for development
and bad seeds they do grow

for me its is malpractice
and reprehensible
why both parents would accept
to me is contemptible
I can’t believe a mother
would let her daughter go
and check out bloody killings
for me it just would throw

so much into the melting pot
it goes against the heart
this a tiny child whose just about to start
its journey to a good place
and to be thrown into this
ugly dark destruction
is so far away from bliss

and so I say to parents
and to my friends everywhere
children need protection from the
destruction that’s out there
let such vile experiences
comes to them slowly they
can always make up their own minds
not be led astray

for me I could not kill a soul
pull a trigger and feel control
of a life itself of creation, I
myself I think would rather die
every earthling was given time
to live its life to fall to climb
to find its feet to do its thing
and if I kill it
what will that bring

how will I feel
when I watch its eyes
close when the men the big brave guys
high five and laugh and say its great
as it lays looking not so sedate
how will I feel
when I realise
that I have become
one of those guys

how will I feel
when I lay my head
on my soft pillow
and that poor soul’s dead
never to experience
life again
only to remember
it’s hour of pain
