Mabon’s (Bijou altar)

Mabon
an equalling of day and night,
an altar prepared
to receive the light,
pumpkins and squashes
fruits from the tree,
a cauldron of copper
such bounty there be,
wisteria whispers
the flowers hearken too
the green women the candle
and Autumnal dew

Let us give thanks
to the earth that did yield
such wonderful moments
out there in the field
where the sun and the rain
and the wind danced in tune
and the stars complimented
the wonderful moon
