Zoo’s are nothing but prisons

I couldn’t agree more
zoo’s are bloody prisons
they seem to think most
highly of themselves
advertise their worth
when the in mates have a dearth
of freedom and fresh living
no one delves
into the in’s and out’s
of all that bluster
the boredom and the
loneliness they feel
depression and neglect
no wild foods to inspect
no excercise to speak of
nothing to appeal
and then the worst
no privacy
keepers coming in
and public too
everyday its people
and all gawping at you
its enough to drive you crazy
in what is a prison zoo.
