The Dairy Farmer is in denial most of the time ( sadly for the animals in his charge)

The Farmer
has his brand of armour
it encloses what heart
he has left
for me he is no charmer
more of a true harmer
and regarding cows he’s tragically so bereft
of feeling
revealing
an unconscious state
for cows do weep their hearts out
and so he
says its sweat clearly he’s set
on believing that cows can’t cry
and that’s a tragedy

and are not mean’t to discharge their solace
its an ignorant state of affairs
because they relinquished
their heartfelt desires
they think, that the ungulates also shares
the same lack of emotion
but I know it not to be
for cows do cry
cows do sob obviously when they see
such sadness
such grim hours
such awful dire unrest
and cows are the sweetest mothers
whose patience now we test.
