What fear does to us
so it does to the Bull
okay, so he’s big and he’s strong
but its all
so full
on
the bluster yes we can see
you can just feel the fear
as the crowd noisily
threatens the Bull
yes he knows the score
the people are angry
they are drunk and what’s more
its hot and Pamplona
is raring to go
to critique what is happening
its just a show
of force
of expectancy
everyone there
expects to get riled
its just all in the air
nobody there
cares of animal rights
all that they want
is to get into fights
but its not what the Bull wants
he just want to be
alone with himself
on some vast lush prairie
but the crowds do not notice
why would they see
pissed out of their minds
its one long mystery
a jaunt for the boys
a weekend away
from their humdrum life
of dumbed down decay
the sangria’s flowing
there are ladies to thrill
and the bulls they will suffer
the blood they will spill
they will die in the ring
they will swallow their blood
so few are aware
of that so final thud
when the brave soul lays down
murdered and wronged
where half of the crowd
just never belonged
and they will go home
in their riotous way
having witnessed pure Hell
on the streets every day
