Fur and fur trim

Its a senseless act
of cruelty
to murder earthlings so
we can skin the souls alive
before they have time to grow
creation gave them skins
for their protection
but then we
with greed and selfish characters
we murder them
we be
apathetic and unstirred
by this insensibility
living in the now
all animals are born to be
they are not created
to be slaughtered
for the sick fur industry
for the trolls who make a packet
from ignorant people who
think a designer label
does great things for you

but designers who design
and use the skin of those
poor souls
who then are trapped and battered
and this is what cajole’s
the trade into believing
the baby seals must die
get hoodlums with their lousy sticks
to bludgeon them from high

these tiny souls are nursing
when the stick comes down to kill
when their brains are splattered on the ice
their mothers milk they spill
along with blood and snot and mucus
its a savage scene
a paid lout leave me in no doubt
the whole fur trade’s obscene

paid louts paid a pittance
to do the grisly work
of slaughtering tiny babies
and they do it they don’t shirk
the babies do not get to them
their haunting cries they can’t hear
they just think about the money
and everything is clear

Racoon Dogs in China
are heavy and we see
them hooked up kicking shaking
on a nail banged in some tree
and then whilst they are breathing
their skin is cut away
and pulled the pain is objectionable
to watch let alone to pay

the price for being a racoon dog
used mostly for fur trim
on anoraks and childrens cuffs
most buyers are so dim
The US won’t allow
the import of dog products so
they all lie through their teeth
and say its faux fur
now you know

when of course its dog
and faux fur is more costly so
this is where you can fool the people
and many do not know
the buyers have an inkling
but they don’t bloody care
as long as the stock arrives on time
and no one is aware

Seals though really get to me
Canada is sick
Canada is bloody cruel
and I suspect real thick
they murder many thousands
batter them to death
as the vomit up their mother milk
and choke on what’s left of breath
and Namibia another nasty place
I wouldn’t go
the skeleton coast is aptly named
for there its extraordinary
the huge numbers of seals
killed in the sanctuary that’s right
they watch them in the daytime
and slaughter them at night

This world of ours is gruesome
when there’s money to be made
and baby seals and bay foxes and baby goats
are slayed
and millions of other animals
are trapped and hunted too
or kept on farms where they just go mad
imploding as you do

the fur trade is the troll trade
its where animal earthlings die
in extraordinary agony
they are forced to cry
out to all humanity
but designers some won’t hear
some are blinded by the profits
and the fur hags that appear

to crawl out of the sewers
out of the forest bare
hot on depilatory sessions
but the poor dead souls they will share
the skins torn off their bodies
but not the anal thrust
that means of death upsets them
I mean it does disgust
