A trained wolf pack at the frontier show

Its sort of like a circus
cowboy hats ad flags
loads of Texas longhorns
and lots a real life hags
wild wolves entertainment
a dog and pony show
everything American
in the frontier show
Milk a cow
rescued wolves
that jump and run
and play
everything for everyone
they will make your day
they’re certainly good at marketing
themselves one must agree
but training wolves to
jump through hoops
is insanity to me
these a wild and winsome souls
a whole pack and so they
ought to be hunting
in the wilderness
not now put on display
training earthlings to perform
for me is wrong and I
believe this kind of frontier show
is truthfully now why
circus that is what it is
by any other name
coupled with a sort of fair
is altogether lame
its back far in the past
and using animals in this way
getting folk to feed them
and pet them
let me say
looks good on the surface
but behind the glitz we see
animals trained to perform
slaves in fact they be
a WILD WOLF PACK
sensational
to the kid’s supposedly
but really its from a bygone age
not something I want to see
the trouble is the Americans
are all hooked up on this
the rodeo is the place to go
its culturally just bliss
to me a true outsider
to me its cruelty
its no better than a circus
where wild animals shouldn’t be
