He squats with his crumbs
all around him
dirty, dishevelled
and sad
alone in the world
in which he was hurled
life for him clearly is bad
unwashed and unloved
its all crazy
this corporate mentality
of feeding the animals
food that we could
feed to our own poor
who be
dying, its not economics
like fodder so many now sigh
sit on the hard ground
and in boredom they drowned
and all most do do
is just cry
nobody cares and nobody shares
and nobody even knows why
the big corporations
have the upper hand
and now when they’re asked
just deny
billions of animals fed on the beans
Monsanto’s soya its setting the scene
people are eating more and more meat
GM control, its no more discreet
its now everywhere
usurping the field
promising farmers
a far greater yield
less pesticides
its been a big lie
but that’s why of course
many will die
seeds costs a fortune
pesticides too
Monsanto grows richer
and able to do
anything really
take over the world
it must be close
to where that boy was hurled
when farmers can’t pay
its a straight suicide
when children can’t eat
they go for the ride
to heaven or somewhere
the end though in sight
small bags of bones
buried at night
whilst terminal cancers
are on the rise
possibly we’will’ all get that surprise
death and destruction, is apparently
what to expect
and that’s how it must be
the, new world order
see us in their sights
they want it all
we have lost any rights
like the indigenous where do we go
perhaps to the slaughterhouse
those places grow
billions of animals now get the chop
and hang from one leg
and spin till they stop
that when their throats
get a slash with the knife
and they bleed and they twirl
for the rest of their life
