Newfoundlands Seal Hunt

We’ve all seen the hunt
it happens each year
where louts come along
with sticks and appear
to smash little babies
all over the place
and this is called hunting
its just a disgrace
if one person did it
out in the street
the police would come running
that’s if he beat
a dog or cat or mouse even he
would get a thick ear
and they’d keep the key
but out in Newfoundland
all you have to do
is dress up in a boiler suit
preferably blue
pick up a stick
and just start thrashing away
they pay you per pelt
white pink or grey
as the dear babies scream
and the skins are ripped off
its like some sick dream
the Govennment say its the best thing
to do
and export the skins
and seemingly view
the fish stocks are bountiful
everyone’s pleased
except the seal babies
whose brains have been squeezed
out of their heads an onto the ice
which I for one think
is not bloody nice
CanaDA what you do it makes me sick
using these louts with a ruddy great stick
to beat up young pups
and leave them to cry
leave them to rot
leave them to die
Canada honest what you do here
is spread far and wide
your own special fear

the political claptrap

thats become your excuse

for murder its rampany

its awful abuse

fishermen ‘s dod stocks

have nothing to do

with seals thats a fact

you haven’t a clue

and now you best think

for the worlds on your case

your murdering ways

you had better brace

yourselves for the backlash

thats coming your way

when Europe starts boycotting

you

and I’d say

all your seal products

are banned from our shores

the reason is we think

you break natural laws
