It happened in Peristeri a suburb of Greece, yes it happened to me

Yes I’m a Yorkie
I am much weaker now
and sad I feel bad
and I just don’t know how
the family could leave me
but leave me they did
in Peristeri near Athens
I could
just about move
I was tied up so tight
I couldn’t sit down
it just wasn’t right
once they had loved me
but sadly for me
the love it ran out
and I quickly could see
my hair got all knotted
food not a thing
the water was dirty
and what that did bring
was I just felt sick
and wanted to die
and they didn’t care
and now I know why
they didn’t love me
they didn’t care
they left me outside
they were never aware
how I was suffering
and how I felt
it was not until recently
a lady knelt
down by my side
she said oh! what a dear
they were the words
I had wanted to hear
and they came from a stranger
it just touched me so
it happened in Greece
just a few days ago
