some moon beams you’ve rolled

to tempt and to mesmerize
those who are drawn
the eyes of of course
a revelatory Dawn
some shimmer some shading
hypnotic and soft
the blink of a cobra
his head held aloft
the experience heightened
avidly so
by a sweetness and subtleness
that’s going to grow
and
on anyone seeing and sharing
the prize
mascara, eye liner, eye shadow
defies
dreams,it defies everything in
the book
fine art on the face
is the ultimate hook
and men are like white bait
if it sparkles its gold
they never listen
to what they’ve been told
the magic to mezmerise
is lost on them
what they see and they
want
is that sparkling gem
