How easy it was
to snuff out a life
its just like a switch
on your wall
but could you have made the life
in its intricacy
that wasn’t done by
a fool
that was just wondrous creation
and mind blowing science to boot
and you had the power
to snuff out a life
out in the forest to shoot
a baby in real terms
an innocent being
with no thoughts of malice
or gain
all it was doing was dreaming

and you thought you’d give
it some pain

became the grim reaper
without any power to create
just to destroy
