Encouraging youths to learn to play a classical instrument

Creativity is what we
all need in our lives
The impetus to practice hard
truly it survives
its imaginative and stable
in a world of troughs, and by
teaching children to get up and play
and to apply
themselves, to learning music
to choose that way ahead
a truly sound accomplishment
which is, classically led
music stretches far beyond
just language
it motivates, it moves one
and can be
a driving force
and does of course
bring out the best in us
it challenges the intellect
the imaginative discuss
to be able to have discipline
to practice, and to learn
to play a piece of Chopin or Satie
which in turn
can motivate and stimulate
a consequence I feel
of helping a young mind
to focus on a real ideal
creative minds are genuinely
forward thinking, they
depict an air of positivity
that lights the way
forward
in my estimation
Scotland’s new idea
helps appreciation
and that alone is clear
if it can be achieved
communication of this kind
a lot of concentration
an empathy designed
to recreate new music
such composition will
create intrinsic motivation
rewards, for those whose skill
warrants dedication
and the elation that
it brings
I honestly believe a child
can fly when
given wings.
