Sinking ship of fools

Sinking its an apparition
Wishful thinking
Perhaps for some
An illusion where confusion
A mirage underneath the sun
Fools who see the duplicity
Of others who believe
That arrogance is their game of chance
In which only they achieve
Such mendaciousness
The want of spot lights
so the world may see
That they are the true kingpins
but in our adversity
A certain strength we muster
We the true souls of the sea
A sinking ship of fools maybe
Drooling at the sight
Of others that sank long ago
And all of that in spite

Of their arrogance which was driven
By ignorance
