Toxicity

There were once so many birds
A singing on the farm
Then the pesticide brigade
Created so much harm
Really awful poisons
Made to cause great sin
Packets boxes sacks and bottles
Even from a tin
Vastly dangerous chemicals
Designed to put us down
To make our brains all shrivel
And in our own liquid drown.
