Foie gras and the yule tide window

Fortnums yuletide window

and a foie gras banner shows

how they make their profit

and in Summerland it glows

the tombstones  of the ducks and geese

who sadly met their end

gorged on fatty corn balls

that rapidly did send

healthy souls to hell itself

all now gavage led

their livers being blown up

at least 10 times its said

the liver presses into the lungs

and breathing becomes pained

we create this vile disease

and how Fortnum’s  gained

the miracle of torture

forgoing empathy

the moronic quest to profit

medieval agony

the heroes stand

with aching arms

they are telling us

reminding us of the ducks

and geese

and the labourers we cuss

who stuffs that pipe down their

poor throats

where so many  have sadly died

standing in their feces

being shot to pieces

and burning up in pain

from deep inside

and the life the life created

we denied
