A perfect betrayal

This pig felt such betrayal

born to live, not die

as a creation he’s a miracle

and of course he’s asking why

a pole is rammed through his body

can we imagine how

that hurts to have that done to us

really in the now

you cannot start to imagine

the agony  and the fright

the terror the consternation

its numinous

the sight

of someone forcing such

an object blatantly down your throat

the blood you can feel it trickling

just from the words that I’ve

wrote

and it  has made my hands shake

the cowardliness displayed

a hog roast or some barbecue

as your hope begins to fade

his eyes grotesque with dark despair

recounting his past lives

aware

let down in his hour of need

sharpen those knives

and let him bleed

again the human fails him

so vulgar  actually

barbarism conquers them

slaves materially

a complete indifference from the start

unimpressed and loveless

the result a broken heart
