has more or less banned fracking

on so much of its city land

its kind of sent them packing

within 1500 feet of any home

church or school the drills the pads

nothing really

really that is all

Trinity East at Barnet Shale

a company has said

who can drill under

these conditions

fracking here is dead

on parks and flood plains also

the residents do say

the thought of having fracking pads

fills them with dismay

America has experienced

the good times and the bad

there has been some pollution

and really that is sad

for the people

for the children

for the environment alas

it has been rather costly

and extremely crass

the frackers

are insensitive

to local peoples need

they are there for the money

thats how they succeed

the town

the environment

the countryside

they don’t care two hoots

they ruin it and they go away

and the of course yes the grey suits

do not even bother

to come and see the place

all they care about

is money

but Dallas had to face

its residents, its voters

and clearly feels they should

be given more attention

which for them has to be good

the Uk sadly demonstrates

a government who feels

whatever frackers tell them

it sort of appeals

the people do not matter

thats what comes through here
