Loaded with out sufficient care ( a sheep trapped in the lorry doors)

It happened because it happened
clearly without thought
the sheep somehow got just too close
and regrettably then bought
her passage to the next world
enclosed by those steel doors
both shut tight on her tiny throat
and strangulation caused
the outcome, just how long it took
no one really knows
but hanging by her broken neck
was the outcome I suppose

of negligence of just too many
crammed into one space
and, no real compassion
one would say a real disgrace
to imagine how that soul felt
as the great doors had slammed tight
as she was pushed too close to them
and left hanging there in fright

one dare not even contemplate
how death like this could be
the horror of it really
sort of purposefully
would sanction such emotion
as the frustration and the pain
and the shock it does not
bear thought to recount it all again

there would be an investigation
what was an awful scene
for the feeling of onlookers
powerless, to intervene
the vagaries of a transportation system
really in their face
and what appeared such carelessness
which did then debase
all sanity, all decency
the evil of it, she
squashed and driven into Hell
through perpituity
