Spring has sprung

A choral of the  clarion callers
golden and spectacular

born in Wintery earth

they sang

songs of love and bounteous life

daffodils and crocus hang

a rhapsody for life today
bounding across  the frosty sod

the equinox shows us all the way

the bluest skies care of our God

warmth  from cold

Mornings rapture

Bare trees still

Skeletal  they

stand with honour

stand with pride

from deep within

the solstice hide
