Racing it’s utter criminality

Food standards advise

the deaths that we hear

hundreds of horses

are murdered

their fear

these intelligent creatures

led to their death

maligned by racing

they sacrifice breath

trained out of existence

run over the miles

over the fences
this torture it riles

even the innocent

even the calm

598 horses were killed

they met their god

all that harm

Racing is ugly

Racing  for kicks

running the furlongs

and jumping the sticks

whipping their poor backs

cracking their  head

what with the glyphosate

many are dead

it’s not a sport

no nothing is fair

they train like the clappers

nothing does compare

they lose even once

and the whip hand is felt

no prize money earned

their future is dealt

a blow to the slaughterhouse

thats where they go

only five years

in real life that’s low

but they are killed

For horse meat

racers  adorn

AT the cemetery gardens

Their saddles they pawn.

is fair
