Wintry hibernations

Hedgehogs and dormice hibernate
They are built that way
As are Bats, a date
In their psyche tells them
The time is right
To go to sleep
For that real long night
Safe and sound
Energy wise
As humans we have
To realise
The wildness element
Protects them all
