Bala

The lake
It’s just huge
It could be a sea
With mountains around it
It has waves and
they be
propelled by the wind
From the mountains that blows
A colourful spectacle
Which really grows
On one’s love and emotion
One can feel I can say
Within it’s dark depths
A magic foray
Surrounded by Rowan the berries of fire
A road thus observing
Its casual attire

Exciting the eyes
This wondrous of places
Reflecting the sky
So many faces
Look to its watery splendour
And feel
How vast it is
What does it reveal
As it laps to the sand
Engaging it’s force
And an age old energy
Right from its source
