Blue bell time

The forest rings out
Merrily
It’s gentle melody
Communicating spring time
Through the woods we see
Into the forests eerieness
True Indigo and woad
Lapis lazuli
thrillingly
Lightening our load
With Great sheaths of dancing blueness
Carpeting from afar
Startling the squirrels folk
Who inquisitively are
Excited by the many shades of delicate within
Waving every which way
Which beautifully underpin
Everything we ever see
Lapping waves of blue
Every shade as shadows fade
A landscape changing view
So masterful and colourful
So grandiose and true
Ashridge sparkles brilliantly
With its many shades of blue.
