Rodeo

A cowardly act and imposition
Known as Rodeo
Where comboys so called torture
Babies as we know
Roping little cattle
Breaking legs and hearts
Causing massive injuries
Many off the charts
As they escape the evils
Ropes the great lassoes are slung
Across to rip a leg away
And leave a calf among
The injured and the dying
It happens on a whim
Successive ugly evils
Another busted limb

A hawking crowd
Is watching
Horse riders anger we
Hear the awful clatter
An act of infamy
Animals lie whimpering
Slumped onto the sand
Arch enemies relating
Who dares to understand

The show goes on
A hateful act
Of ugliness we share
Broken bones and contusions
So many unaware
Carry off the dying
Veal for the next day
Those who support the massacre
End up in hell they say
