Alternatives to meat

Dead flesh free products
Now the so called meat trade
Pokes its toes
Into the alternatives
That the more discerning chose
The cruelty personified
The torture every day
The slaughtering of animals
Making babies pay

Animal Rights and Factory Farming
Welfare issues they
Have reached an enormous number
How can that be the way
Forward populations
Consuming the dead flesh trade
A reason why the vegans
Ideas have been portrayed

Slaughterhouses and sausage makers
Are entering the affray
Selling vegan type products
As well as dead flesh, they say
We can take some profit
In the vegan camp
Carry on killing animals
But try to make our stamp

Possible competing
With the vegan companies who
Don’t have the power or the where for all
To do what the meat trades do
Companies who established the vegan trades
And found
Clearly the majority ate meat
And thus were bound
To be party more to the health trade
To vegan outlets who
Worked on smaller margins
With an ethical point of view

The worlds biggest producer
In the dead flesh trade
Like JBS their Richmond brand
Is not likely to fade
They clearly have the muscle
Supermarkets will
Pack their plant based brands
With a few vegan brands
Until

Meat eaters and vegans
Select what they believe
Are ethically vegan companies
Sales they will achieve
The supermarkets know who does what
The customers though may not
Prices are then affected
And the smaller ones go to pot

Tivall are owned by Nestle
So we can give them a miss
Vivera and Richmond and Fridge Raiders
By JBS an abyss
Way outside the vegan firms
Of ethical desire
Many using organic foods
Whose qualities are higher

Plant based purely plant based labels
Not vegan at all
Can have up to Five per cent
Dairy that’s not cool
That allows the meat trade
To muscle in and be
Competing with the vegan trades
Unapologetically
