A carriage horses lament

Their struggle for survival
Made to haul those who
Because they fail to walk enough
Their combined weight does screw
The ligaments and tendons
The carriage horses they
Lose their will to carry on
And flake out any away
The sun the heat the traffic
On this their dying day
