Another Thursday shower

A gray sock sky

and the sun on high

a golden ball so bright

daffodils with enormous chills

and the Beech tree  looking bright

snow pouring down

an April Shower

that  melted straight away

hit the deck with sloppy check

on this cold and icy day

as for imagination

its fanciful to say

that blue is entering the sky

what can anybody say

the strangest of strange Thursdays

a blizzard and good light

slantingsheaths of rabid snow

looking for a fight

i have heard of April Showers

but April Showers of snow

of sleet of hypo thermal rain

goose pimples on your dimples

and a chilly stone cold brain

nip in the air a cold snap

the daffodils hold frost

tulips so majestically

truthfully look lost

leaping from the frosted loam

ice on petals white

rocking on a fearsome wind

and, trying to fight

the  blizzard and the hailstones

cryonic maybe so

its an icy Thursday

if you didnt know.
