Freedom

Trees bare witness

sirens too

this is freedom

its what they do

bring in the eviction squad

ex servicemen

Each one a god

Shepherds Bush Green

love down was there

tents and stuff

They  brought  despair

singing dancing drumming souls

simplicity their many roles

simple tents and parasols

injustice

just the actual goals

lines of police

and of course the vans

they came with their dirty plans

break up the camp

steal the tents

bash the people

it made no sense

“Kumbaya” and simple songs

just people wanting freedom

wrongs

committed by the

council who

employed the goons

thats what they do

tore up all the colourful tents

arrested women

Where’s  the sense

in all this bully boy activity

policeman handling

sexually

ladies bodies shouldnt be

seen by people on tv

no decency no genuine care

Bundled

they were unaware

from happiness and outward joy

dread and awe

and angst  to toy

with caring thoughtful people who

saw tyranny

its what they do

rhe police were cruel

gestapo more

nasty and unfair

breaking the law

a great black cloud

over the green

bluster and menace

set the scene

on the wrong side of History

our Police Chief

thats if you ask me.
