As dogs we are so threatened

apparently you see

the people do not  respect us

and therefore we be

feral kind of wild in fact

the streets are where we roam

up against the City

and where people truly comb

the streets for us

dog catchers

some say that they need

to  use the TNVR method

and by so doing

will succeed

but despite the name TOPLAN

dog care in Baku

out on the streets

you seldom find

the Toplan dogs

They do

say its just another arm

of the killing machine

and leads in to mass slaughter

it really is obscene

Being  a dog  in this place

trust no one  our mantra

the insensitiveness of people

really many are

uninspired by our canine  clan

Their religion tells them they

should not keep dogs as pets

and we must jeep away

from all of them

the ones who are called dog care

and clearly the others

we have to be aware

eating where we find stuff

running when we can

This place  that we  find ourselves

No one  is a fan

not seen as pets

Or it seen as friends

just someone they can kill

really its a war zone

our blood they want to spill

any help you can give us

Clearly would be great

its good, if they state

really what is happening

the pessimism here

there really are  no rainbows

only constant fear
