Thanks to Open cages

With the public eating chickens
Supermarkets they
Want the special prices
And the farms do as they say
From egg to death
Its short as hell
Thirty five days of life
Rapid weight gain
Just imagine
Every hour the strife

The breasts are growing
Massively
The legs are growing too
They cannot even stand up
The chronic pain its true
35 days of squalor
And Agony its there
Dont talk to me about chlorinated chickens
Its not fair

The English farms are cruel
As well
There is so much distress
A life of such severity
And awful bitterness
The times they may be changing
The supermarkets they
Have got away with murder
And are changing so they say

As for the British Public
All they want is cheap
Food and so the chickens
Their Bodies sadly reap
Trial and tribulation
Every sodding day
Grinding gruelling agony
The chickens how they pay

And the supermarkets
Love the margins
Everybody closes eyes
Stuffs their ears with
Cotton wool
Thats about the size
Go into these wretched farms
Listen to the screams
Chickens that cant walk
And in their shit
Lie, So it seems

Man is far from kind
These days
Open Cages tells us so
The Mirror told the story
It wasnt very long ago
In Gloucester and in Herefordshire
The farmers do their worst
Torture farming far from calming
The victims all were cursed

Tesco Sainsbury Lidl
Are the three we hear
They are going to change their tune
but its still playing clear
Others have all promised
In six years or so
To change their rotten tactics
But theres still six years to go

It sickens me that carnivores
They have no regret
Its clear no one can breed tHese birds
Its to do with the mind set
Making Profit better margins
The chickens suffering so
The karmic debt is growing
Life forever low

BEAUCHAMP FARM GLOUCESTER
lower cleeve farm herefordshire

Mentioned in the story

No scruples for any of the players In the MEAT TRADE

Remember its the murder Trade the killing trade
The death trade And now the TORTURE TRADE
