Realness actuality
The fundamentals flowing free
The purest air and a warm blue sky
Lungs just helping us to fly
Oxygenation from the trees
Sunlight And a luscious breeze
Natures palette decked in gold
On life itself I am clearly sold

Coal and gas and fracking comes
Dust and darkness how it numbs
Fossil fuels blacken the sky
With methane levels rising high
Fracking pads the noise the sin
As trucks roll by and such a din
The fracking waste is everywhere
Why was nobody aware

The camps were there protectors too
Lines of police arrests on view
Fines and finger prints lock downs we
Experienced them incessantly
Slow walking trucks and our water smelt
Our fresh air gone all the worst cards dealt
Suffering as the gas fields grow
As the pipes they burst and forever flow

The roads are jammed with tankers they
Hundreds of them cart away
Tons and tons of god knows what
House prices fall
So we have got
Negative equity thats for sure
The house wont make what it did before
We are paying the mortgage with so much stress
And all of here are in one big mess

The fracking corporations they
Are making money every day
Our landscape once beautiful
Now looks grey
Our water stinks and our air
The way
It used to be so fresh and sweet
Is vile and choking and incomplete

Industrialization thats our home
Rigs and drills and chimneys comb
The airwaves smokey and we are sick
The kids have nosebleeds
The air is thick
No more coppers they are hopefully
Feeling inadequate now they see
What we were protecting is no more
And they can suffer like us for sure

The CEO’s are raking it in
Knighthoods no doubt they always win
In their tropical mansions near the sea
In their lap of luxury
Whilst we meander from place to place
Leaks and earthquakes now we face
Fracking water stinks to high
And already they are dumping it by and by

In the river in the sea
Our tanks of water cost you and me
A fortune thanks to the fracking man
To the corporation who had their plan
To ruin us all and to get away
With a load of money and we could pay
The local people the gas field mob
No fresh water or air we sob

We really suffer the tories they
Are part of the ruling class today
The likes of May and the tory hordes
Who never fell upon their swords
They had their shares in the fracking game
And the people will never feel the same
Our gardens and parks are ruined by
The rigs and holes and by and by
The radio active waste they used
Down the bore holes we refused

But they just did it anyway
They changed the laws and we had to pay
They got off scot free and they live abroad
Where most of us cannot afford
Our beautiful lakes are contaminated
Our countryside now its not rated
The air we breaths it chokingly
Is Dirty and most of us we be

Watching our country go the dogs
Fracking happened and brought the bogs
The swamps the rigs the evil cloud
We live in the gas fields are we proud
To have fought them hard and got jail time
Our finger prints taken in pits of slime
Our lives were awful nothing to rate
Living in what is a police state

Cuadrilla has done it I gas too
ineos richer the tories do
Look after their backers
Now as we wait
Britain will never again be great
May fucked up brexit we lost
The customs union they tossed
Democracy ofcourse a way
And the people are losing every day
Migrants are here mosques everywhere
Sharia law rules the english dont care

Most of them gone off to far far away
Where the skies are still blue and the air clean

Its just a run down place destroyed by war

Bank accounts raided just like in Greece
Unelected officials ruling the roost
And making the laws and getting a boost
From seeing the english just rot in the jails
