My beloved Kangaroos

Every single shooter
For me is a mercenary
Dry eyed guilty of extremes
and potent thuggery
It is really all left up to those
assassins out at night
A single shot to a big red’s head
So obvious in the light

But of course these rogues and scoundrels
Mass murderers as they go
Out at night to supplement
Their earnings As we know
And do hit many females who they wound
And kill for fun
Out there in the good old bush
With their fucking gun

The macropods are so unique
In every single way
Creation made them happen
And therefore every day
To take pot shots and slaughter them
For meat and leather ware
Is creating an anathema
That spells out such despair

Cruelty we know it
Out in the bush the Roo’s
Are getting shot and injured
With everything to lose
They are so good for Australia
We should be grateful they
Protect the natural environment
And do that everyday

Instead of being appreciative
Which does make me incensed
For them its bunce and glory
They should not get recompensed
That is my opinion
Wild animals should be
Protected from what is infact
Wholesale cruelty

Their skin made into footballs
For that sweet souls must die
Or because the meat trade wants the profit
And that really is why
Kangaroo’s must suffer
The environment must too
No foresight or compassion
With our shooters we pursue

Some even steal from joeys
And pinkies let them die
So they can fill their greasy throats
And tell the biggest lie
That kanga milk is creamy
And great on shredded wheat
I would love to feed consumers
to the crocs for them to eat
