Tegan

Tegan’s soul
Rose into a blue sky
To beyond
Departing she was smarting
Leaving her friend
So fond
Of Susan it was painful
To realise that she
was being lifted
Skywards into eternity

All the hours she had watched her
Her love she knew so much
To close her eyes forever
And never physically touch
Her auric veil of joyfulness
Raised high to her new home
Resting now in Paradise
In a peaceful park to roam

Among the soft white daisies
Where she can romp and play
And think of dear sweet Susan
Forever and a day
Each gentle undulation
A river rolling by
Hay stacks in the distance
And blossoms that do fly

Our love would last forever
Her touch she knew it well
Her eyes I shan’t forget them
Safe within your spell
Where spiders weave and birds achieve
Their greatness via flight
Susan is and will always be
With me in the light
