No matter how big or how small we are
We interrelate our existence is far
Reaching interacting and exchanging for we
Are each part of the whole proportionately
There’s linkage an equivalence in all we share
The light and the dark and of course the fresh air
The water and heat from the sun all aware
Of the different degrees whenever its there
Each tiny shoot each ancient Yew
The Elephant the Ant they all know what to do
They all co exist and they can and they will
Swim very fast or remain still
So much abundance where we see few
The earth is alive with the old and the new
They Flourish together for the balance is there
All embracing completeness both fullness and rare
Where there is order we see harmony
Things fall into place synchronized actually
Each has its place in the whole scheme of things
And appeals in a sense to how all of that brings
Unity really and absolute power
To each be themselves whether wild weed
Or flower
Time waits for no one our due tenancy
Is regarded in spirit and futurity
Death comes to all in the passage of time
No matter how rich or how famous
The climb, down to where
We meet our ancestors and compost from there
Giving back to the earth
What we took in our life
The organic matter that clearly was rife
The knowledge amassed lost for all time
Everything stops at the end of one’s rhyme
Imagination where does that go
The love for a person well they just might know
And does it manifest will it appear
As an affirming angel or maybe a tear
