Red cove day

The ropes are taut
The knives are out
The pithing rods
And there is no doubt
The gaffs the Japanese
The pain
Its happening over and over
Again

Bodies lying drenched in blood
The gaff the muscle
Another flood
Of tears from activists everywhere
Who hear and are in
Complete despair

Where blood equals money
You know the worst
Its when you know
We all are cursed
The Taiji men show bitterness
They do not even care a less

They hunt and drive
Our friends and we
Are outraged and we shall always be
Our revulsion for their enmity
For their abomination reality

Their hatefulness
And disregard
All those pods that have worked so hard
At maintaining knowledge and good life
To all end up
On the blackguards knife

But then they are an unfriendly
Lot
A more bombastic bunch they could not
Find I reckon anywhere
These braggarts just are so unaware
