The travellers

They happened to be in Missouri
And the show of course must go on
The amazing rainforest experience
One day and then they are gone
A travellers life is so stressful
All around the country they go
Town after town it does get them down
Putting up and taking down their show

The Missouri state fair
With show Tigers there
And you should have seen them
For they
Are so bloody thin that their bodies and skin
Are unnatural so much so today

Watching them clearly unhappy
Sluggish and slothful they looked
Quiescent and out of commission
Dawdling around just half cooked

And thin and drawn out in their bodies
Skeleton looking some said
Just fed on chicken meat so i have heard
But really they do need some red

Meat and some organ meat oh and some bone
That gives them muscle and they
Are travelling its very stressful
On trailers they stand night and day

No where to stretch out their limbs
So to say
And travelling shows tend to so get away
From the rules and the regulations
Scant regard for them one day and gone
Out on the road they just go on and on

To the next place and the next place
And its one big ordeal
Knackered and listless and not much of a Meal
Sort of kept hungry so they will perform
And living their lives in the face of a storm

The tigers look sad they look skinny as hell
The one mountain lion he doesn’t look well
As for doing tricks its not in their head
They just want to lie down and sleep yea instead
A complete lack of thickness all skin and bone
Fleshless and weedy with no muscle tone
Compressed underfed any fool can now see
Those tigers are being abused regularly
