Payback from the elephants

Our habitat is stolen almost every day
Trucks and cranes and JCB’s
Seem tO make their play
They knock down all our favourite trees
And clear our paths away
For centuries we follow them
And so we have to say

It just is not fair Anymore
The tarmac is too hard
It really does our feet in
Thats why they are so scarred
Your so called metal boxes
That roll across the land
People sort of peer at us
Which we don’t understand

And actually in reality we are sick and tired
And so the words on all our lips
Our patience has expired

And we are going to have some fun with you
Payback time is here
We are going to do you over
give you a thick ear

Bust off all the mirrors
Sit on the front so hard
Scratch your blooming windscreen
So best be on your guard

Many are just driving far too fast today
When they find us on the road
They blow the horn and say
Basically sod off will you
No its our right of way
You sod off or we will crush the car
And then you will pay

So that is what we are doing
With our natural pathways gone
With the tall trees that we scratch a lot
Also not upon
The places where they used to be
Everything cut down
And so we are going to fight back
And drive you back to town
