Rebel with a name like that what chance did he have

Rebel died and why was that
Because he took the blame
A child got through an enclosure in a zoo
That’s what they claim
The officials of the zoo were where
The parents of the child were where
Others watching they were where
All in fact were unaware

Or didn’t care enough to share
And so an innocent incarcerated soul
Was killed died because man un kind
was blind
And not prepared to take the role
To take responsibility for
Their errors which all did ignore

The wolf was given an inappropriate name
Once again we were to blame
Ignorance was in the frame
With arrogance that is my claim
Negligence was clearly seen
And the victim died
Which was obscene

A terrible story an awful end
Karma it’s hoped is going to send
Messages out to all who read
What is the truth and where does it lead
