The colour blue

Blackfish kind of did it for the Orca’s
Sea World was unwilling to conform
The need to have the aqua parks
Legitimatised
To prevent the tanks from
Experiencing a storm

The animal rights brigade
Seemed unimportant
The fat cats in the board room
Thought they knew
Their arrogance far higher
Than they ever could attest
It’s who they are
And why they want to screw

The life out of the wild souls
It’s their stupor
They need the money
That’s what it’s about
The corporate money making
It’s really most heart breaking
Hire a bunch of ignorants
Set them on a course
convince them all they are doing good
And can they feel the force

There are many victims
Their suffering is high
San Diago will pay the price
As the victims sadly die
It’s called The Blue World
Coastline
Ten million gallons there
The whales will play and be observed
And fight off their despair

Captivity is the vilest kind
Of prison there can be
And no matter what the maxim is
They never shall be set free
Ten million gallons capacity
And a depth of fifty feet
It is just like living in the sea
Won’t that be a treat

Of course they have to do the tricks
Three hundred million bucks will buy
A piece of heaven
It’s enrichment and complete
With synthetic rocks
It sucks!
3 tiers of solid romance
The biggest cetacean cell
They will feel as though they are free
That’s what I have heard tell

Their ignorance is tantamount to
Obstinacy
It’s an obsession a reluctance so to say
The ocean is their premise
And it’s there where they should stay
It will always be a prison
There is no place to stay

There will be no freedom anywhere
Just buckets of dead fish
And drugged up to their eyeballs
That will occupy each wish

Are we aware that animal rights
Have been persistent here
Unfaltering and unwavering
For me it’s very clear
They are muddying the waters
It’s an impression only that
Seen as inarticulate
That is where they are at

Whales can never ever be
Made to live ashore
In huge great prison tanks
Sea World I abhor

It’s really about money
It’s a business that we see
It’s a corporate being selfish
The animals are not free
They compensate with
Synthetic rocks
And buckets of dead fish
It’s an aqua park for goodness sake
The animals all wish
To go back to their birthplace
To go daily to the sea
To frolic in the stuff of blue
And forever there to be
