The cat walk
The skeletal set
Legs up to the chest
Fur
They are told to wear it
They should be under arrest
The designers
And the buyers
The magazines and the TV
Anyone who is anyone
Is there for all to see
Dom Perignon the sparkle
The bubbles and the cheese
Fur belongs to all those innocent
Animals
It’s a wheeze!
Trapped in some dark hollow
Dispatched under some boot
Scalped until you are naked
Who really is the brute?
Wild animals I wonder
Designers and those who
Turn our pelts to fashion wear
And sell them
To the likes of you
