Fortnum and Mason your Christmas window

The toffs like to go there
The queens warrant holders
Clearly they have
The broadest of shoulders

Inducing torture torment and pain
They call it foie gras
Lives so in vain

Ducks and great geese
Gavage all the way
Force fed with fat corn
Making them pay

That makes their liver
To swell And to force
Into the lung
As a matter of
Of course

This would be life sapping
Bleeding and sick
This is the stuff
That they sell
Or they pick

Diseased fatty liver
The birds are so sad
And they sell this evil
Because they are bad

The protest went on because they
Did display
Their new Christmas window
Which blew us away

When we knew they sold foie gras
Torture in a can
And try to remove our sweet banner
And ran

The police they were useless
They took their side
We were the protestors
It’s us who have lied

Fortnum and Mason
Angels they be
Murdering animals
So painfully

This is the problem
When we try to show
The world what is happening
They don’t want to know

They are all corporations
Obliged to respond
And cooperate with each other
Some sort of bond

And we are just trouble
So we have to go
We can’t
be right
We are spoiling their show

Corporate mayhem
That’s what we see
And anyone else
Just cannot be

They pay their rates
And sell what they think
So why on earth really
Do we cause a stink

This is our problem
The trolls on the move
The tetra’s are heightening
They are in the groove

It’s animation
We’re seen as wrong
With no leg to stand on
We don’t belong

We are the riffraff
They are the toff
They have the money
So we can sod off

But we are the warriors
The voiceless depend
We care for animals
And we do send

Our message out to the world
And all we say
Is respect all the animals
And love them today
