Bolivia and their rebuke of Mc Donalds

The indigenous people have knowledge and power
They sense what is good and generally how
To maintain their lifestyle with seasonal food
They take time and effort and try to include
Local herbs organic produce for they
Know what is good for that is their way

Many are farmers and thus understand
How to grow crops and look after the land
They are not into complex creations at all
It has to be whole or it tends to appal
They need their energy for they work hard
And American corporate culture they guard
Against all this fast food this processed food, they
Like prefer simple food for that is their way

Take Mc ribs for example the ingredients there
71 of them processed despair
Everything’s cheap doctored processed and so
Is really imbalanced they don’t feel the glow
And It costs the planet in most wasteful ways
Truthfully more than just one culture pays
Energy costs are extraordinarily high
And the net result poor which really is why

Bolivia says in no uncertain words
McDonalds can go away with the birds
Their 14 years here have been all at a loss
Despite all the glitter it’s really just dross
Dressed up in packages sauces and bread
But seen there nutritionally as basically dead

So with all their shops closing
The great golden arch
Loses it’s power
And they start the long march
Out of Bolivia back to the USA
A loss making venture for them all the way

How pleased I am that they have seen sense
It just goes to show you the indigenous fence
Went up when they came with their arrogant stance
They were oblivious really of chance
Their marketing expertise just wasn’t right
Their corporate mindset didn’t offer light
It was darkness the gm concept it was wrong
Clearly McDonalds doesn’t always belong

And despite all the clutter and the parasite ad’s
People eat wholesomely it’s never fad’s
They know nutrition they understand
They care about themselves and local land
And I say aloud full marks to those
Who shut out the gullible arses that pose
Waste risk and really obesity too
With their high processed crap
Only fit for the loo
