79 hangings in Greece thats
in two years
strung up by the neck and left
to die, hold back your tears
thats if you can, for savage thoughts
and evil ways abound
as loyal friends met their maker
on a rope just off the ground
the dogs had much affection
they were friendly but alas
couldn’t taste humility they all suffered enmasse
as craven cowardly cretins
where hatred took a turn
a loathing of the purest souls
fills me with concern
what is detestation
a loveless partnership
an odious rebellion
such an offensive grip
Anubis riled and ready
resents this bitter gall
this wrathfulness and anger
the reproachful virulent trawl
the pitiless persuasion
this relentless rigour will
79 die from hangings
all vindictive bastards still
wandering the streets maybe
as Anubis is on the prowl
their consciousness may startle
for their murdering ways so foul
will show them up to be the one
and Anubis will be there
to grind their bones to powder
just to fly off everywhere
let the people breathe it in
fill their lungs and feel
the agony and terror
that for those dogs was real
Good one Rex … very good one.
thanks Susan you are a kind soul and this is just another poem from Greece
how sick and sad it all has turned out to be
