The Barred owl and the Spotted Owl

If you happen to be a barred owl

in Oregon, that’s it

they are killing them

to save the Spotted owl

that sounds like  s**t

the barred owl is a critter

with a varied diet

they

are able to survive because of that’s what

the others say

having  a selective diets

its flying foxes they and they won’t

eat  other rodents

on them they are choosy

and so ofcourse the authorities 

have seen fit to intercede

to protect the spotted owl brigade

ensuring they succeed

so all the other species are up in feathers they

believe  its undue pressure

and they don’t have any say

its the old red and grey squirrel issue

if you happen to be a grey squirrel

thats it when you appear

you will expect to be shot

or downgraded to a rat

and treated  most unkindly

and you wouldn’t think much of that

if only human beings would leave nature alone

the world would be a better place

and that is widely known
