The Guardian is being attacked

that is what we hear

our free press is in peril

from the government

the fear

they are pushing to a high degree

from those leaks, but then we know

had it not been for Snowdon

then the long running show

might have run well on and on

into a police state, we

have felt the threats behind our backs

its no democracy

its worse  even than Russia

was and its coming thick and fast

the illuminati claptrap

gets its final blast

overreach and corruption

on an awful scale

treating honest editors

as traitors does entail

now some support for those who had

the courage of their conviction

which is more than can be said

now for those who impose restriction

harassment and intimidation
