Hunting with children

we see them on the social media

hunting shots where children

are posing with dead animals

the assumption parents shot

the child smiles really they haven’t got

the where for all to realise

what it is they participate in

though the effect is not

conducive to reality

a child should never be

inflicted with such karma

its not something we need  to see

who can say that a child

appreciates the kill

how can an innocent child

create such pain

remember this is an animal

in the prime of its life

and just for a few moments

its insane

the sacrifice is priceless to the animal

for a picture in some album

possibly

the child can never live that down

the animals is gone

the parents judgement

so shot away

it be

shock value

well of course it shocks so many

how can it ever be right

there’s no way

that any parent ever

should subject a child

to a killing

there simply is no way

as children we should be taught

to love animals

to appreciate all creatures great

and small

not to go out with a gun

and murder them

that is heinous

not the sort of school

any child should expect

and sadly witness

and be told to smile

whilst manhandling the soul

holding up its antlers or whatever

giving an impression of control

its sick if you ask me

this is no parent

a psychopath perhaps

and this should be

taken now and used of course

in evidence

of what is truly

criminality
