“Limba” has passed on we know

Despite Cancer and age
Limba was able
to dress up as Santa
which did then enable
her participation
in the festive parade
did it?
did she want to ?
and without aid
was she aware
would she have preferred
to rest on her laurels
since what now has occurred

no elephant should need
to ever take part
in something that doesn’t
come from its heart

she must have been feeling
as sick as could be
tired too of being
it is seemingly
obvious really that she
needed rest
but on that special night
it wasn’t deemed best
