Bully, Boss, and Kahlua it was Deadly force that killed them

Family pets become part of the family
just as important for all of us as we know
dogs or cats they embed themselves
within our hearts and minds
and relationships of course they grow and grow
and without a law protecting against
Deadly Force
what happened in our yard
the tragedy
unfurled
when deputies came by to serve a summons
opened our gate
and we lost
our world
our emotions took a mighty hammering
as our dogs at play came over just to see
and one of the deputies took out his revolver
and shot our dogs and shot them one two three
Bully, Boss and Kahlua lost their lives that day
in our yard and on our property
with signs upon the gate that dogs were kept here
but the police still came on in
though they were free
there has to be a law
against “deadly force”
clearly judgement here was shot away
the dogs did not attack them
they just came to see
but that was enough for “deadly force”
from the deputy

Justice is what we are seeking
we have lost 3 family friends
in our yard on our property
the message that this sends
is no where are we safe now
and our animals clearly they
will be shot just for being there
which cannot be the way

we need a law protecting us
and our pets, right away
the police are clearly poorly trained
for what happened on that day
was a tragedy for our family
for our dogs and for us all
and the deputy who shot them
it shouldn’t have been his call

that law must be brought in now
safe guarding families
we are going through such grief
the time is right to seize
whatever opportunity to raise
the question here
we need justice for our babies
thats very very clear
