Why do slaughtermen kill calves

Why do they kill calves
its down to money
there is no market for them
and they must die
its only to keep their mothers
dishing out the lucrative milkstuffs
the calves are just superfluous
that’s why

they will not pay a penny more
to save them
they are in fact lost leaders and must go
to slaughter in a week
otherwise with supermarket payments
nobody pays enough as some now know

they either take on sadistic types of people
or the people just degenerate
alas
working with the babies really isn’t great
seeing them at 5 days, a morass

of throats all cut
when the slaughter men they go to town
the do not care a monkeys just how young they are
its all about just having to put them down

and how that gets to the people
they lose their marbles quick
seeing babies torn a’sunder
you do have to be thick
or completely off your rocker
so just a sadistic sod
who likes to torture babies
and answers to no god

all the while the public
believe themselves to be
part and parcel ungulate
then cows milk they will see
as their milk, from their mothers
as adults they do perceive
that they are really babies still
with the ace card up their sleeve

but in fact they are the humans
and cows milk cannot be
helpful for their nutrition
you must now believe me
its a foolish supposition
but its one that’s fooled the crowd
its adding to the confusion
and the heart beats getting loud

why do they go for slaughter
the dairy wants to make
loads and loads of money
and hearts they are going to break
they play down all the murders
play up the milk maids scene
the haystacks and the pretty birds
and everything that’s green

and the public swallow all of that
and are prepared to be
hoodwinked into thinking
that they are babies actually
they haven’t had their milk teeth
for years but still they think
its right to get behind some cow
and take a good long drink

so the myth goes on forever
and the products grow and grow
the bovine growth hormonal
sees obesity on show
antibiotics seriousness
grows stronger by the day
as people become ungulates
and the ungulates dismay

is carried on and on and on
and that’s why calves must die
they are why the cow produces milk
thats why the yields are high
because of all the tinkering
the drugs and god knows what
we drink this milky ocean
which the bloody cow ain’t got

so they must die and die quick
and that is what they do
forced into the slaughter chutes
and murdered what a view
they have these sweet young innocent souls
of human un kind they
are driven to the slaughterhouse
where they quickly do away

they quickly slaughter thousands of them
babies cry aloud
the slaughter men have wooden hearts
the corporates do crowd
the board rooms bloody everywhere
as profits they just rise
heralding the process
and the baby calves demise
